Forge DeckPrivacy policy
Forge Deck is a desktop application. This service keeps the account and settings you choose to sync between your own installations, and nothing more.
What is stored
To run your account:
- your email address and name
- a salted password hash, when you sign in with a password
- your Google account id, when you sign in with Google
- the legal documents you accepted, and your sign in sessions, each of which you can revoke
What you sync: settings, Claude Code subagents, chat snippets, SSH devices, browser profile names, agents with their memory and schedules, and per project notes, configuration, Claude Code memory files, recordings with their transcripts and audio, and chats. A chat travels as conversation text only: what you wrote and what the model answered, never the files it read, the images you attached or the commands it ran. Every one of these is encrypted before it is written, with a key held only by this service.
What never leaves your machine
- project paths and the list of projects
- terminal sessions
- files, images and tool output from your chats
- browser data and saved passwords
- refresh tokens of any provider account
- window layout and other machine settings
Google sign in
Signing in with Google shares only your Google account id, email address and name with this service. They are used to create and identify your account and for nothing else. No Google data is shared with anyone.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept for as long as your account exists. Signing out on a device revokes that device's session. Deleting your account removes every record tied to it, at once.
